Carlyle E. Dawson

Carlyle E. Dawson, a longtime resident of Auburn, passed away on February 7, 2011 in Wenatchee, WA, where he had resided for the past 1 ½ years. He was born November 11, 1917 in Chetek, Wisconsin to Francis and Frieda (Maier) Dawson. Carl was preceded in death by his wife Fern who passed away in Auburn November 9, 2007, after 61 years of marriage. He is survived by his daughters Lynne Hagen, Nancy Bonander and Carla Brey; and son Chuck Dawson. He is also survived by grandchildren Karen Walters, Dianne Walters, Jon Walters, Shelly Kimbrell, Denise Dunkle, Karsea Langlois, Kendra McLean, Demian Dawson, Dawn Manley, Christopher Brey and 12 great-grandchildren. Internment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery. A gravesite ceremony and celebration of life event will be held at a later date to be announced.
