Born in Auburn, WA to parents Douglas & Susan Gunderson. Casey passed away on Valentine’s Day and is survived by her parents, brother Benjamin, grandmother Corinne Gunderson, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She graduated high school at Auburn Riverside in 2001 and college in Bellingham at Western Washington University in 2004.

She played basketball thru her junior year in high school, as well as being a cheerleader. She coached young girls’ basketball and enjoyed playing the piano.

Casey worked at Sunbreak Café while in High School, and at a coffee stand while in college. After graduation, Casey worked as a flight attendant with Alaska Airlines. She then enjoyed being self-employed in several businesses, which included CMG Interiors, Time Out coffee stand, and her favorite, Vibe Bar in Kent. Her final employments were at Tractor Supply and Lowes.

Casey loved skiing, snowboarding and hiking with her Dad, brother and friends. She would light up the room when she entered with her smile. We love Casey and we will miss her dearly.

A memorial service and celebration of her life is scheduled for 3:30pm on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Messiah Lutheran Church at 410 H St. NE, Auburn, WA.
