Cecil Dean Williams
Cecil Dean Williams was born on April 29, 1929 in Olathe, Colorado to Ray and Octa Williams. He was the oldest of six children, 3 boys and 3 girls. Cecil grew up on the family farm in Olathe and in 1948 moved to Seattle, WA and began his college career at Northwest Bible College. There he met Alma and they were married October 16, 1953 in Napavine, WA. After moving back to Colorado for a short while, Alma and Cecil moved back to Washington and began working at Boeing in 1955. Cecil worked as a machinist at Boeing until 1990 when he retired after 35 years. Cecil loved to work on engines, fix machines, especially lawnmowers and enjoyed snow skiing and camping. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He faithfully served his community, family and church, Northwest Family Church, all of his life. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ foremost in his life. Cecil passed on to heaven November 26, 2010. Cecil is survived by his wife Alma of 57 years, his three sons, Phillip Williams, Daniel Williams and Verlin Williams, 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Services are Thursday, December 2nd at Northwest Family Church with burial at Mt. View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Northwest Family Church, Mission Dept., 3535 Auburn Way S., Auburn, WA 98092.
