Mrs. Connie Diane Chandler, of Algona, WA, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the age of 68.
Connie was born to parents Ernest and Genevieve Hedgers on June 20, 1949 in Olympia, WA. She grew up in Shelton, WA as the young sister of her three older brothers. She attended Shelton High School where she graduated in 1967 and later graduated from Olympic Junior College in Bremerton, WA.
Connie married Michael Kyle Chandler in 1974, and the couple had three children. Connie and Kyle lived in western Montana for several years before moving to Algona, WA; where they have lived for the past 38 years. Connie was an avid gardener, a prolific quilter, a connoisseur of chocolates, and a fan of all things related to Star Trek.
Connie is survived by her husband, Kyle; her son, Dr. Seth Chandler; her daughter, Jillian Steele; her two granddaughters, Fiona Chandler and Allison Steele; and many cousins, nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Megan Chandler; her daughter-in-law, Rebecca McKerracher Chandler; her brothers, Leonard and Arthur Hedgers; and her parents, Ernest and Genevieve.
