Connie Vanselow
Connie Vanselow, born November 13, 1921 in St. Cloud, MN, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 in Bellingham, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane. Together, they most recently traveled the western United States before settling in Pacific, WA. Connie was a devoted wife and loving mother who enjoyed nothing more than being surrounded by her five children. She was known for her beautiful dahlias and was fond of her two dogs, Tiki and Oliver. Connie was a member of the Holy Family Parish and was an active member of the Pacific Senior Center. Her many friends will remember her for her warm personality and winning smile. Connie’s devoted daughter, Pat was living with her, helping her with daily activities when they moved to Bellingham to be near other family members.Connie is survived by her daughter, Karel Winter (Bernie); son, Tom; daughters, Sharon Pelfrey and Patricia Clark; son, David (Kristi); nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
