Danie T.J. Hoover was born in 1952 at Enumclaw Hospital. A long time Auburn resident, he graduated from Auburn High School in 1970. He joined the U.S. Army, serving in Company D, 2nd Battery, 3rd Brigade, initially stationed at Fort Ord, California. Later stationed in Germany, he served almost 3 years.

Danie passed away September 3, 2021, just 7 days shy of his 69th birthday in Tacoma, Washington.

He is survived by his children Tim Hoover of Poulsbo, Randy (Angela) Hoover of Kennewick and Lisa Cortez of Spokane, sisters Ronica Hopkins of Algona, Byrdena Hammond of Auburn, Sheryl Page of Algona, Lavella Hoover of Oroville, Cirel Hoover of Edgewood and brother Cyril Hoover of Oroville, 6 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Internment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery.
