Dorothy Maxine Bickford passed away peacefully at her home on February 9th. She was born August 3, 1931 in Spokane, WA to Patrick and Rose (Naccarato) Guarisco. She married Elwood “Bick” Bickford in 1952 and together they raised three daughters. The family moved to Auburn in 1963 and Dorothy lived in the same home until her death.

She worked in the Auburn School District lunch program when her girls were young and then operated a home daycare for several years. She went to work for Wells Fargo in 1995 and after retiring, worked several more years as a CNA at the Pediatric Interim Care Center as she loved taking care of the babies.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Vickie Ray of Pacific, Kathy Bickford of Auburn and Pat (Eric) Johnson of Lake Tapps; grandchildren, Heather (Tim) Brewer of Hutchinson, KS, Brittney (Philip) Knight of Bonney Lake and Sam Johnson of Lake Tapps; great-grandchildren, Steven, Ryan & Bradley Serna of Hutchinson; great-great-grandchildren, Khloe, Brenton, Braden & Lincoln Serna; and sister, Mary Mueller of Spokane.

Dorothy was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.At her request, there will be no service. Internment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery.
