Edward Charles “Chuck” Solak

Edward Charles “Chuck” Solak, born November 3, 1949 in Seattle, raised in Auburn, WA. He passed away peacefully at home after a few short months with cancer on November 17, 2011 at 62 years old.He was preceded in death by parents, Floyd and Lorraine. He is survived by his wife Peggy, 4 children that called him Dad, Angie, Tina, Joe & June and six grandchildren that called him PaPa. A brother Eddy, sister Sharon and Aunt Ila.He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. After the war, Chuck was a truck driver until last March. He loved fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle and family good times. He was a good, honest, quiet, loving man that will be missed by all who knew him.A committal service with military honors will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday, November 28, 2011 at Tahoma National Cemetery. Remembrances to VA Hospital, DVA, Hospice Providence of Seattle or American Cancer Society.
