Glenn R. Wilson Age, 72 of Algona WA passed away March 5, 2011 after a long battle with COPD. He was a career military man. Retiring from the U.S Army after 20 years as a chief warrant officer. After military life, Glenn & his family settled in Algona where he served the community for over 20 years as first councilman & later becoming mayor. Preceded in death by his wife Orla Jean in 2007, Glenn is survived by sons Tim (Dara), Jeff (Gretchen); daughters Robin (Alan), Cyndie (Dave) and Gayle (Brian); brother, Clinton (Joanna) Wilson; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Visitation will be held Thursday, March 10, 5-8pm, Funeral Services Friday March 11, at 11am both will be held at Edline-Yahn & Covington Funeral Chapel 27221 156th Ave. SE Kent, WA. Burial will follow at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.
