Hazel Beverly Snyder passed away at home on December 10th from a battle with cancer with family around her.

She is survived by her husband Jim Snyder and daughters Tamara Goering (Dave), Darla Snyder, 6 grandsons and 6 great grandchildren. Proceeded in death son Donovan and brother Lloyd.

Born to Anton and Josephine Eggen on September 15, 1936 in Rolla, ND, Hazel was the youngest of 4 siblings; Annette, Irene and Lloyd. The family moved to Cle Elum from St. John, ND in 1942. Hazel graduated from Cle Elum High School in 1955. She loved growing up in Cle Elum where she made her lifelong best friends.

Eventually moving to Auburn in the early 60’s, she met and married Jim in 1965. For many years, Hazel enjoyed painting ceramics, (great at painting lifelike eyes), that she enjoyed giving as gifts. She also enjoyed crocheting, and NO ONE could make better pie crust then her!

Hazel was a devoted mother, grandmother and wife who was dearly loved. Her generous, kind, caring and loving heart will be deeply missed.
