Ione (Woehl) Hartzer died January 11, 2017 after fighting a courageous battle against cancer. She died peaceful in her home surrounded by her loving son Ron Hartzer.

Ione was born October 25, 1928 in Fairfax South Dakota to Pete and Martha (Gentele) Woehl. She married Richard Hartzer October 19, 1955. To this union were born two children Richard Lee Hartzer and Ronald Patrick Hartzer. Ione worked at the Red Lotus in Auburn for 25 years before retiring in 2013.

Ione is preceded in death by her children Sharon (Woehl) Spint, Norman Woehl; her parents Pete and Martha Woehl; and her siblings Irene Woehl, Ira Woehl, Ivan Woehl, and Ed Woehl. She is survived by her siblings Elaine (Woehl ) Giles, Ruth (Woehl) Anderson, Larry Woehl, and Herman (Butch) Woehl.

A memorial service will be held Saturday February 4th 11:00 AM at the Westhill Church, 29926 37th Ave S, Auburn, WA.
