James N. DuBey
On March 2, 2009, our beloved Jim went to be with the Lord after a long, courageous battle with heart disease. He was born in Alpena Michigan in 1930.He served his country for 22 years in the US Air Force around the country and in England and Iceland. This was followed by 15 years with the FAA at the Seattle Center.Faithful Christian and devoted husband, Jim is survived by Iva Lee, his wife of 59 years. Loving father of four children, Robert (Linda), Barbara (Steve), Forrest (Deborah), and John, five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.Traveling was one of his many interests, seeing the country and spending time in the Southwest. He had a love of fishing which he enjoyed from boyhood on. In later years he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Always a lover of books he spent many hours reading and researching genealogy.Jim’s life will be celebrated in a memorial service March 14, 2009, 11AM, at the First United Methodist Church, Auburn, Washington. He will be laid to rest in Mt. Tahoma National Cemetery, in Kent, Washington.
