June M. Esp, a long time resident of Auburn, WA passed away on May 31, 2017 at the age of 86. She was born on May 25, 1931 in Big Timber, MT, the daughter of Antoon and Alice VanderVoort.

June married her high school sweetheart, Robert L. Esp, on September 2, 1948. They together moved to Washington in 1952, where June was a stay at home mother raising three children. After the children were raised, she found great enjoyment and relaxation playing Bingo.

June was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Robert “Bob” Esp, her parents, and brother Ray VanderVoort. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Esp of Auburn, sons Robert L Esp, Jr. of Auburn and David Esp (Kim) of Auburn, grandchildren, Tony Esp (Ana) of Puyallup, Kelli Bates of Auburn, Heather Esp (Ted) of Edmonds, Joe Syersak (Ofelia) of Auburn, Brandon Esp (Mary) of Seattle, and Bryan Esp of San Diego, CA; great grandchildren Mythias Esp (Megan) of Puyallup, Logan Esp of Puyallup, Gabrielle Esp of Puyallup and Eleanor Esp of Seattle, and sister Faye Scrimsher of Montana.

The memorial service for June will be held on Saturday, June 10 at 11 AM at Price-Helton Funeral Home in Auburn, WA.
