Kathleen Marie Vaughn

Kathleen Marie Vaughn took her journey home on Tuesday, January 27, 2015.

She was born in Cheyenne, WY, on July 10, 1952, to Adam and Eva Lopez. She was married to Dennis W. Vaughn in June, 1970. Kathleen moved from Cheyenne, WY in 1965 to Kent, WA and lived there until moving to Oregon in 1991.

A woman known for her strong spirit, her grace and immense compassion, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We take comfort in knowing her spirit is with us, and watching and protecting us all.

She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, friend and warrior. She is survived by Dennis Vaughn of Glide, OR; her children Shelby and Jason Maddox, Randy and Napua Vaughn, Danielle and Vincent Remer; her grandchildren Tyler, Mercy, Cody, Israell, Ezrah, Jonas and Elliot; and great-granddaughter Iris.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
