Leah Rae Adams
Leah Rae Adams was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She died peacefully in her sleep on March 31, 2016. She was 77 years old.
Leah was born to Claribel and George Wade in Gary, IN. The family relocated to Auburn, WA and Leah graduated from Auburn High School. She was happy to live out her days in the Auburn community. At heart, she was a small town girl.
She dedicated her life to her family and enjoyed cooking and tending to her garden. Her family and friends would look forward to the gorgeous flowers that graced her yard each year, the strawberry jam she made every summer, and to her Christmas fudge. In her later years, she developed an interest in painting and jewelry making.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, James Adams, their son Mark (Nicole) and her adored grandson Chase. She also leaves behind her cherished 16 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Molly. She is preceded in death by her sisters Marceline Virginia Schultz and Sally Ann Wood.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Auburn Valley Humane Society. Leah’s life will be celebrated at a private memorial service.
