Marilyn Ruth Fay, 83, died November 3, 2014 in Buckley, WA. Marilyn was born November 18, 1930 in Modesto, CA to William and Bernice Beare. She Graduated from Ashland High school in 1948 and went on to graduate from Emanuel School of Nursing in Portland, OR.

Marilyn married Arnold Fay March 19, 1955 in Portland, OR and they had 3 beautiful children together.

After 25 years working as a registered nurse at Auburn General hospital Marilyn retired to take time to love and raise her grandchildren.

In life she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 59 years, Arnold Fay; daughter Monna Connell and husband Thomas of Buckley; sons William Fay and wife, Nancy of Fox Island and Edward Fay and wife, Pamela of Buckley; brother John Beare of Kiezer, OR; sisters Alice Lee of Kiezer, OR and Carol Moberly of Coos Bay, OR; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents and Brothers Edward and James Beare.

Viewing to be held Sat. Nov. 8, from 5-9pm at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley

Funeral service to be held Sun. Nov. 9, at 2pm at Living Hope Community Church, Bonney Lake

A burial will take place at Tahoma National Cemetery, Mon., Nov. 10, 2014 at 11:15 a.m.
