Marge married J. Henry (Hank) Schulte on May 15, 1937, and they moved to Pacific, Washington in 1945. She passed away on June 23, 2012, at Regency Auburn Rehabilitation Center in Auburn, Washington. She loved gardening, ceramics, knitting, crocheting, painting, reading, and spending time with family and friends. For the past 55 years, she was known as Granny to all her grandchildren, their friends, and the neighborhood kids. Every child loved to go see Granny because she always had two or three kinds of home-made cookies lined up in cookie jars in the pantry. She is survived by her daughters, Audrey Cruickshank of Pacific, Washington and Susann Gunderman (Raymond) of Sebring, Florida; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and numerous great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death in 1994 by her husband of 56 years and her son, Floyd; brothers Loren, Dwight (Hoolie), Leonard (Barney), Payne and sister Cloe Day.At her request there will be no funeral service. A memorial service to celebrate Marge’s life will be held at Audrey’s house on Saturday, August 25, beginning at noon. Remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice.
