May Ellen Riffle, age 97, of Algona passed away on November 27, 2016. She was born on September 8, 1919 in Haddam, Kansas. May and Floyd (Bud) had 4 children.

She moved to Algona in 1952 where she was employed with the Boeing Co. until retiring in 1984. May attended the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Auburn. She volunteered at the churches Community Center for 30 years.

May is survived by her son George Riffle, daughter Bessie Larson and sister Bessie Cook. May had 12 grandchildren,

15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd, sons Roger and Robert, Riffle and grandsons, Rick and Ron Larson.
