MATTIE GILLIAM

Mattie Marie Smith Gilliam was born in Peace Valley, MO on February 19, 1913. Mattie passed away on December 29, 2009 in Puyallup, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harry Freeland Gilliam. Mattie and Harry spent over 50 years as residents of Auburn. Mattie is survived by her two daughters, LaWanda Cartwright-Marvik (Lloyd) of Puyallup, WA and Kaye Colvin (Mike) of Goodyear, AZ; Grandsons Roger Cartwright (Marci) of Orting, WA, Rod Cartwright (Jenae) of Auburn, WA, Brian Mannelly (Katrinka) of Tacoma, WA and Michael Mannelly (Gretchen) of Goodyear, AZ. Mattie is also survived by three great grandsons and four great granddaughters. A private family grave site service will be held at Auburn Mountain View Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Auburn School District Hot Lunch program.
