Merilyn Frances Louise Mills

Merilyn Frances Louise Mills, 64, left this life on June 28, 2012 after a courageous battle with Cancer. Merilyn was born on October 21, 1947, in Seattle, Washington, to Bryan and Frances Sargeant. She is survived by her husband Mel Mills; daughters Susan Roberts of Auburn, WA; Beth Roberts of Colorado; two grandchildren, Robbie and Arianna Rhode and Sister Carolyn Fairbanks of Graham, WA. She was preceded in death by her Parents Bryan and Frances Sargeant; brother Rod Sargeant and sister Kathy Sargeant. Merilyn graduated from University of Puget Sound in 1970 with a BA in Elementary Education. She was a licensed office manager in her husband’s State Farm Insurance Agency until 2000. Merilyn was a professional church organist/pianist from the age of 14 to 64. Mel and Merilyn would have celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary on July 3rd. Viewing will be at Klontz Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 6th, at Auburn Way North and 4th NE in Auburn, WA. The funeral service will be Saturday, July 7th at 11:00a.m. at The United Methodist Church – East Main and “N” St. NE, Auburn, WA. The Interment is Tuesday, July 10th, 2:30 pm at Mountain View Cemetery.
