Patsy J (Pat) Anderson

Pat Anderson 94, of Auburn, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023.

Pat was born February 21,1929, in Kent WA and graduated from Kent High School in 1947. She married her childhood sweetheart John “Dean” Anderson on October 21, 1949.

Pat raised her kids, Debbie Schumsky (Paul) and Lori Harding (Trevor), in Auburn.

She was proud Grandmother to, Stephany George, Kelsie Campbell (Jerrell), Allison Abrahamse (Will), and delighted in spending time with Great Grands, Andrew, Daryn, Norah, Riley, Leo, Lydia, Griffin, Brooklyn, & Lorelai, PLUS Great Great Granddaughter, Raury, and numerous nieces & nephews.

Pat worked for many years as a meat wrapper at Dunhams Grocery in Kent. She liked everything artistic, including sewing, and painting, and the Seahawks. She had a wonderful sense of humor and quick wit, which she passed on to her offspring — along with chocolate therapy, and a love for a great pair of shoes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira & Myrtle Stanley, her sister Betty, brothers Bill and Danny, and her beloved husband Dean. Family will be gathering in her honor privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
