Peggy Ann Sargent was born in Carmi, Illinois, March 6, 1932. She graduated from Indiana University, B.A., Studio Art, minor, Art History. She married Dr. Paul R. Sargent.

She resided in Orting, WA. Peggy was an avid gardener. She enjoyed choir and working with children at Grace Community Church, and spending time with her family. She cherished her children, and her only grandchild, Sierra, was the light of her life. Peggy had a strong relationship with God. She was a prayer warrior and lived by her faith. She was a loving person, truly an example of God’s love and grace.

She is survived by her children Heidi M. Sargent, Paul A. Sargent, Heather A. Raven and Shannon L. Hyde; her sister Patricia H. Gunn, and her granddaughter, Sierra E. Hyde. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Rev. David E. Werner and Elsa M. Werner, and her Tante Helena and Uncle William Schildmeier. She will be greatly missed.
