Reva was born on November 20, 1943 in Spokane, Washington and passed away in Buhl, Idaho on April 6, 2018, after a strong battle with lung cancer.
Reva is survived by her partner, Judith Heidel of Buhl, ID; daughters, Cathy Marpasert (Joe), Lacey, WA and Patricia Paul, Federal Way, WA; Grandchildren Jessica Gillespie (Ryan), Sumner, WA; Tyler Paul, Federal Way, WA; Travis Paul, Mercer Island, WA and Tiana Minor (Cecil) Spring, TX; and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Will and Rose Stanley.
Reva worked 30 years in various positions for the Auburn School District from 1979 until her retirement in 2009. During her time as supervisor of maintenance, she was also the Hazmat specialist. She also served as president of the Auburn Public School Employees for a number of years. Reva made many life-long friends during her employment in the Auburn School District.
Reva enjoyed her family and friends and any new adventure from golfing to fishing and hunting, photography, carpentry, traveling, mechanics, gardening, horse racing, and continuing education. She will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched over the last 75 years.
Reva was cremated and her remains will be in Spokane, WA at Spokane Memorial Gardens alongside her parents. In lieu of flowers, she suggested donations be made to the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance in her name or to a charity of your choice.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 2nd from Noon to 4 p.m. with the program beginning at noon, followed by lunch, at the Rio Verde Clubhouse, 1402 22nd St NE, Auburn. Call 253 269-2948 to get the gate code.
