RHODA WILLIAMS FLEMING

4-/21/1924 – 5/15/2016

Born in Northfield, MN and passed away peacefully in Puyallup, WA after a brief illness. . Rhoda was married & widowed twice: first to L. O. ‘Willy’ Williams (23 yrs) and to George Fleming (16 yrs). She was a resident of Seattle (1943-2002) until she moved to Auburn to be closer to family. She worked for 30 years for Fred Meyer in Seattle. She is survived by Gaye (Ron) Anderson, Eugene (Sandra) Schroeder, and Bet Danley; grandchildren: Elaina (Young) Yoon, Karen (Randall) Kendall, Lynn (Ken) Cruz, Susan (Tom) Philbrick and 5 great grandchildren. Rhoda was an active member of several Lutheran Churches over the years, Emblem Club #216, American Legion Aux. Unit #1, VFW Aux, Salmon Bay Auxiliary #2141 and TOPS #0917. She has been an avid fundraiser throughout her life and her hobbies included sewing, playing Bridge and Mahjong, knitting and baking.

Memorial Service will be at Messiah Lutheran Church
