Robert “Bob” Cortel of Algona died at home on January 31, 2018; he was 84. He was born November 19, 1933 in Everett, WA.

Bob graduated with the Auburn High School class of 1952 and joined the US Army. He worked as a journeyman auto mechanic until he retired.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother and grandson. He is survived by his wife, Mary of Algona; sister Sandra R. Ward; eight children; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
