Susan Kay Coburn

Susan Kay Coburn, age 61, living in Auburn, Washington, passed away in her home on May 28, 2009, following a courageous battle with cancer.She was born February 17, 1948 in Roseburg, Oregon to the late Barbara and Jack Haun.Susan was a remarkably independent single mother of two boys. She enjoyed spending time in the garden and watching the Home Shopping Network. She remained an avid Elvis fan to the end.She is survived by her two sons, Darren Coburn and Sean Coburn, Auburn, WA; her sisters Karen Perreault, Renton, WA, Pearl Bellinger, Mary Quintana; her brothers Raymond Hammersly and Leonard Smith, Jr., Roseburg, OR; and her niece Cause Haun, Seattle, WA.In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her infant daughter Brittany.A private service will be held at a later date. The family suggest that memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice. The Curnow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.We would like to thank all of the staff of MultiCare – Good Samaritan Home Health and Hospice for their caring assistance over these past months.
