Toshio Nishimura
Toshio Nishimura, born April 15, 1913 in Bainbridge Island, Washington and passed away on February 13, 2010 in Federal Way, Washington. Toshio was a farmer for over 50 years in the Auburn area where he grew strawberries and raspberries. He enjoyed gardening, raising Bonsai, traveling to Japan, Hawaii, and Las VegasToshi is preceded in death by his first wife; Kiyoko, and his five children: Ronald, Richard, Linda, Carol, and Irene. He is survived by his current wife of 37 years; Miyeko Nishimura, step daughters; Madeline Jonker, Louise Leise, daughter-in-law; Debbie Nishimura, grandson; Raymond Nishimura, as well as five step grandchildren; Tiffany Taskey, Heather Gilmore, Amber Schlabs, Aaron Leise, and Amanda Leise; and seven great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held, Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Price-Helton Funeral Home, 702 Auburn Way N, Auburn, WA. A Funeral Service will be held, Thursday, February 18th at 12:30 PM at Price-Helton Funeral Home with interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn.
