Vince Maragno

Vinicio “Vince” Maragno went home to be with the Lord on July 12, 2010. He was born October 20, 1933 to Gristante Lucillo and Osanna Maria (Perini) Maragno in Badia Polesine, Italy. He arrived in Seattle by ship in 1954 and fell in love with the Puget Sound area. Vince became a United States citizen on January 12, 1959, something he was very proud of. Vince married Eileen on July 25, 1981. He liked reading, playing cribbage, exercising, action movies, traveling, visiting family in Italy, and going out for breakfast. Vince was a member of the Enumclaw Moose Lodge and RV group. Vince is survived by his wife Eileen Maragno of Enumclaw; daughter Gina Maragno of Des Moines, WA; step-daughter Lea Patricelli (Marty) of West Seattle; step-son Lawrence Silk (Gloria) of Sanford, NC; sisters Licia Rampa and Liana Catania both of Italy; and 5 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 23, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Enumclaw.
