William E. Vicars, 80, passed away on December 16, 2009 in Tacoma, WA. He was born on March 12, 1929 in Kelso, WA. William was a longtime resident of Auburn and owned Vicars T.V. Service, retiring in 1995 after 35 years.William enjoyed bowling, golf, building and flying remote-controlled airplanes.He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy A. (Herrington) Vic-ars. William is survived by daughters; Sandy Meiser of Sumner, Kathie Longmire of Auburn and Susan Hath of Shoreline, also 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Inurnment will be at Mt. View Cemetery in Auburn, WA. Memorials may be made to Heartwood Extended Care in Tacoma, WA. or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund.
