Regarding the police blotter, isn’t there enough dryly written bad news to read about in our newspapers?

I, for one, appreciate the reporter’s sense of humor and usually read the police blotter first – not only to find out about recent crime activity, but to have a good hearty chuckle at the end of a long day.

If you can’t take a joke, don’t read the column.
