PUGET SOUND SHOCKERS
The Auburn-based youth baseball organization is pursuing teams to compete in its Puget Sound Baseball Classic set for March 18, 19, 20 at the Puyallup Recreation Center, 808 Valley Ave., NW. Teams are needed to fill brackets in U12, U13 and U14 divisions. Entry fee is $495 and includes a dozen baseballs. The tournament is sponsored by the U15 Shockers. AUBURN PARKS ADULT LEAGUES
Two spring leagues and two summer leagues will be offered at Rainier Middle School for players age 18 and older. They are call-your-own leagues without officials, trophies or playoffs. The SPRING schedule will be 10 games on Thursdays (March 31-June 7) for the National League and Tuesdays (March 29-June 7) for the Continental League. The team entry fee is $150, and registration is due by March 3, with a $25 late fee assessed for registrations received after that date. A MANDATORY coaches meeting is March 31 at 8 p.m. at the Auburn Parks and Recreation building, 910 9th St. N.E. AUBURN PARKS SPRING LEAGUE
A spring league will be offered by Auburn Parks. Teams are six-a-side playing with an intermediate-sized ball on a modified field. All games are on Sundays at Game Farm Park, and teams play two games a day for a total of eight games. The league runs from April 10 to May 22, with no games on April 24 (Easter) or May 8 (Mother’s Day). Division leaders advance to playoffs. The team entry fee for either winter or spring is $620, with registration due by March 23. Registrations received after that date dates are an additional $50. VOLUNTEER COACHES and ASSISTANT COACHES are need for various Auburn Parks programs. All coaches are certified through the National Youth Sport Coaches Association and must clear a Washington State Patrol background check.

AUBURN GYMNASTICS CENTER
The MIGHTY STARS program is being offered for ages 5-6. It takes place on Mondays, Feb. 21-March 14, and March 21-April 11, both from 6-7 p.m. The focus is on very basic tumbling skills, and building self-esteem and self-confidence. The cost is $45 for Auburn residents and $57 for non-residents.
A MINI STARS program for ages 3-4 with emphasis on developing fine and gross motor skills, strength and beginning tumbling skills, is offered on Tuesday evenings, Feb. 22-March 15 and March 22-April 12, from 5-5:45, and is offered on Wednesday mornings, Feb. 23-March 16, and March 23-April 13, from 10:30-11:15. LEARN TO SKATE CLASSES

AUBURN PARKS DOG TROT
This 3K/5K fun run is scheduled for Saturday, May 21, at 9:30 a.m. at Auburn’s Game Farm Park. It is part of the fourth annual Petpalooza event. The cost is $15 if registered by April 29 and $20 for registration after that date. The first 100 pre-registrants receive a free goodie bag. AUBURN PARKS ADULT PROGRAMS
League and teams for a variety of ability levels will be offered by Auburn Parks. All players must be 18 or older. The American League is the highest level, followed by the National League and the Continental League. Teams will play two games per night except for coed Continental leagues, and will play a total of 10-16 games for the season, depending on league and night of play. Team entry fees range from $635 (Wednesday coed Continental and Friday coed Continental) to $745 (men’s Sunday National and Continental) to $890 (Friday coed American and coed National) to $960 (men’s Monday American, Thursday National and Thursday Continental, and Women’s Tuesday Rainier League). All games are at Game Farm Park, except for Friday Coed Continental at Brannan Park. All seasons begin April 17 and continue through mid June, except for Wednesday Coed Continental and Friday Coed Continental, which go through mid July. All registrations are due by March 10, and any received after that date are assessed a $50 late fee. The pool, located adjacent to Auburn High School at 516 4th St. N.E. offers several programs. PUBLIC SWIMS are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7-8 p.m.; and Saturdays at 1-3 p.m. and again from 7-9 p.m. The cost is $3.50 for adults and $2.50 for youths and seniors, except for the 1-3 p.m. Saturday sessions, which are $1 for everyone. LAP SWIMS are offered Mondays and Fridays from 6-7:30 a.m. and 12:15-1:15 p.m.; and Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8-9 p.m. The cost is $4 for adults and $3.50 for youths and seniors. YOUTH SWIM LESSON SESSIONS are set for Feb. 28-March 24, March 28-April 21, April 25-May 19, and May 23- June 23. The cost is $5 per lesson for ages 6 and older, and $6 for ages 3-5.
