The Auburn Trojans ended their 2008-2009 campaign on Saturday with a 71-68 loss to Todd Beamer in the second round of the West Central District III tournament.

Jay Payne led the Trojans with 20 points, with Isaiah Johnson adding 19.

Beamer was led by sophomore guard Napa Mefi who had a game-high 27 points. Senior Kevin Davis added 22 points.
