Auburn earned a 13-11 come-from-behind, nonleague fastpitch victory against Auburn Mountainview on Friday. Trailing 5-3 after five innings, the Trojans posted 10 runs in the sixth to take the lead in the ball game.

The Lions added five runs in the bottom of the sixth, but were unable to overtake Auburn.

Auburn Mountainview junior Delene Colburn had three hits, including a home run and two RBIs. Senior Callie Kirk added four RBIs with a triple and a double.

Colburn earned the loss on the mound with six innings work, giving up 12 hits with eight strikeouts and six walks.

Auburn statistics were not reported.

The Lions are 2-1 in nonleague play with wins over Auburn Riverside (17-0) and Franklin Pierce (5-2). Auburn Mountainview begins play in the South Puget Sound League 3A with a home game against Peninsula at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Auburn (1-1 overall) begins its SPSL North 4A schedule at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Kentlake.
