The Seahawks are 2-1 overall. The Trojans dropped to 1-2.

Auburn put together 268 yards of total offense, notching 190 yards rushing with 78 yards through the air.

Junior DeShawndre Appleton led the Trojans in rushing with 73 yards on 12 carries.

Malik Williams had six carries for 22 yards, including a 4-yard TD run.

Auburn’s quarterback tandem of junior Justin Ioimo and senior Nick Kaatz threw the ball 12 times, with Kaatz notching five completions for 62 yards and Ioimo going 1-of-6 for 16 yards and two interceptions.

Cade Borden kicked a 36-yard field goal for the Trojans.

Defensively, seniors Sam Lindsey and jack Tuia had 11.5 tackles apiece.

Auburn plays Auburn Riverside this Friday at 7 p.m.
