The Auburn Mountainview girls play Bonney Lake at 4:15 p.m. today at Clover Park High School for a chance to move on to the WIAA Hardwood Classic 3A state basketball tournament.

The Lions (19-5) beat South Puget Sound League rival Lakes 62-51 on Friday night to earn a spot in a game that decides the No. 5 seed to regionals. The contest is a loser-out game.

Auburn Mountainview beat the Panthers (18-7) in two previous meetings this season.

The WIAA draws the regional sites and opponents Sunday.

The Hardwood Classic is March 6-8 at the Tacoma Dome.
