The Auburn Mountainview girls easily downed Fife 7-1 on Thursday in nonleague play. The Lions were paced by Nicole Carter and Josette Lake with two goals apiece. Delene Colburn added a goal and an assist and Emilee Greve had a goal and three assists.

Fife’s lone goal came courtesy a penalty kick by Courteney March.

The win moves Auburn Mountainview’s record to 2-0 on the season, with their first win coming via forfeit against Hazen this past Tuesday.
