The Lions evened their record at 1-1. Mount Tahoma dropped to 0-2.

Senior quarterback Domenic Rockey linked up with his receiving corps for five touchdowns on 10-of-14 passing for 199 yards.

Senior receiver Kekoa Nahaku had three catches for 124 yards, including touchdown grabs of 47 and 68 yards.

The Lions also got touchdown receptions from senior Devin Bryant and juniors Ray Hardaway and junior Cassano.

On the ground, Hardaway scampered for 70 yards on 11 carries with one touchdown. Sophomore Andrew Korchemniy added six carries for 29 yards.

The Auburn Mountainview defense added three touchdowns, with senior defensive back Brandon Bodine notching a 27-yard interception return and senior safety Curtis Scott and senior lineman Rakeem Hogan both returning fumbles for touchdowns.

The Lions take to the road at 7 p.m. next Friday to play the Camas Papermakers.
