Junior Jeffrey Morgan led the way for No. 8 Auburn Mountainview (6-2 league, 7-3 overall), going 2-for-4 with three RBIs and a run scored.

Mason Cerillo, Joey Cassano and Ikaika Nahaku each had two RBIs and Hudson Byorick, Nate Zadow and Tyler Friis added an RBI apiece.

Nahaku, Byorick, Friis and Brandon Mozzone each had doubles.

On the mound, Alex Gleason earned the win, giving up two runs on two hits with four strikeouts in two innings of work.

Jared Gray added three innings in relief, giving up three earned runs while striking out five.

Senior Doug Untalan was tagged with the loss for Lakes (0-9, 0-10).

The Lions host Lakes again tonight at 7 and play 4A’s top-ranked Puyallup (9-0 SPSLSouth, 13-0 overall) at 4 p.m. Saturday at Safeco Field.
