The Lion girls soccer team opened their South Puget Sound League 3A schedule with a 1-0 win over rival Bonney Lake (0-1 league, 4-1-1 overall) on Tuesday.

Auburn Mountainview (1-0, 6-1) was led by Delene Colburn’s goal in the 47th minute in the contest, on an assist from Kellcy Emory.

The Lions will host Enumclaw (1-0, 5-2) at 7 p.m. Thursday at Auburn Mountainview High School.
