Q: What is your favorite subject in school?
A: History.
Q: What other activities do you participate in?
A: Photography and videography.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: Evan Johnson, coach and director of First Tee of Greater Seattle. Also credit goes to Steve Calhoun at AMHS and my swing coach Brian Thornton.
Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?
A: After a match or tournament, I always eat a burger with no cheese and fries.
Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?
A: “One Day” by Logic.
From the Sideline
Beau Fenton took fifth at the NPSL tournament. He is the team’s scoring champion, a first-team all-league player. As captain he led the Lions to their first undefeated season (10-0) and Olympic Division championship. He is one of two Washington golfers chosen to play in the Pebble Beach First Tee PURE Insurance Championship.

A: Sports medicine.
Q: What other activities do you participate in?
A: Hanging out with friends and going to school events.

A: My mom, Kim Phan.
Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?
A: Before I swim, I talk a lot to my friends so I don’t have to think about the race too much.

Jade set school records in the 200-yard individual medley and 100 butterfly this past weekend at the NPSL league championships and took second overall in both events. She is also a part of two of the three district-qualified relays that also competed. Jade continuously displays an excellent work ethic, in and out of the pool, leads her team in points scored and holds four school records. – Corey Smith, Lions swim coach
