Auburn Riverside alum Brett Harvey was named Northwest Conference pitcher of the week during March 13-20.
Harvey is in his sophomore season on the mound at the University of Puget Sound. Over the seven-day span, Harvey had two outings during the week.
In his first appearance on March 15 at Lewis & Clark, he pitched four innings in relief, didn’t allow a run, and had just a single base runner.
The following appearance, Harvey threw a career high 8.0 innings and gave up five hits. Over both of those outings, Harvey didn’t walk a single batter over the 12 innings.
Since March 11, Harvey has been solid for the Loggers. Harvey has a 2.11 ERA over three games, his best stretch in his Logger career.
