The Auburn Riverside girls soccer team stayed alive on Tuesday, downing Beamer in a 2-1 shootout in the West Central District 3/Southwest District 4 4A Bi-District tourney at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup.

Robin Hood had an unassisted goal for the Ravens (9-5-3) in the contest and Taylor Crace had an unassisted goal for the Titans (8-6-3).

The Raven win ended Beamer’s season and earned the Ravens a loser-out contest against Union Thursday at McKenzie Stadium in Vancouver, with results unavailable at press time.

ELSEWHERE: The No. 7 ranked 3A Auburn Mountainview girls soccer squad continued its postseason run with a 2-0 win over Hazen in the South Puget Sound League/Seamount Sub-District 3A Tournament Tuesday at Renton Memorial Stadium. The Lions (15-2-0 overall) were led by Madi Clarkson and Kellcy Emory, who both scored goals. Anastasia Finney and Rachel Fieser combined for the shutout in goal, and Emily Greve added an assist.
