Auburn Riverside graduate and Oregon State University wrestler Michael Mangrum is in more legal trouble.
Mangrum, a sophomore, was arrested on Sunday by Corvallis (Ore.) Police for third-degree criminal mischief, according to the Corvallis Gazette-Times.
The paper reported that Mangrum was booked and released after being arrested for allegedly punching and breaking a yard light at an apartment complex. The police report also said Mangrum was intoxicated, according to the Gazette-Times.
Last year Mangrum pleaded guilty to second-degree disorderly contact for his involvement in a fight that hospitalized a man. He was sentenced to a diversion program, but did not complete it in the designated time. As a result, he was sentenced to one year of probation in March, ordered to complete 100 hours of community service and undergo alcohol evaluation and any treatment recommended.
Mangrum was a three-time Washington state 4A champion for the Ravens and finished with a 130-2 record in four years of high school competition.
As a redshirt freshman for the Beavers during the 2009-2010 season, the 141-pund Mangrum went 22-12 and competed in the NCAA Division I tournament, finishing one win shy of qualifying for All-American status.
