The Auburn Riverside track and field team split their meet against Todd Beamer this past Wednesday at Federal Way Memorial Stadium, with the girls posting a 72-69 win and the boys falling 70-66 to the Titans.
The Raven girls swept the distance events, with junior Rachel Atwood grabbing first in the 1,600-meter race, with a 5-minute, 22.60-second time, and the 3,200, with a 11:21.25 finish.
Sophomore Lauren Saunders was first in the 800 with a 2:29.31.
In the 100 hurdles sophomore Rachel O’Neil posted a first-place 16.20 time. O’Neil also grabbed first in the triple jump with a 34-02.00.
Sophomore Brandi Williams was first in the long jump with a personal best leap of 18-01.50. Williams also finished second in both the 100 and 200 dashes.
In the javelin, senior Tayrn Jones finished first with a 82-0 throw.
Auburn Riverside won two of the relay races against the Titans, with Kim Coon, Ali Rodseth, Carly Morgan and Williams earning first in the 4×200 with a 1:51.43. Saunders, Atwood, Morgan and Grace Werran were first in the 4×400 with a 4:33.06.
In the boys competition junior Korey Krotzer was first in both the 1,600 and 3,200 with times of 4:20.65 and 9:45.66.
Junior Andrey Zadneprovskiy was first in the 110 hurdles with a 14.92 and the high jump with a 6-2 jump.
Senior Deon Johnson was first in the long jump with a 21-2 and senior Joe Kim won the triple jump with a 40-7.
Senior Josh Keller won the javelin with a 141-10.
The Raven 4×400 relay team with Nick Alexander, Dylan Brown, Trevor Love and Eduard Yakimchuk was first with a 3:35.49.
Auburn Riverside will compete next Saturday, April 30 at the Shoreline and Lake Washington invitationals.
