Auburn Riverside had little trouble chalking up its third win of the season, beating Mount Rainier 57-14 in a South Puget Sound League North 4A game Thursday night at Auburn Memorial Stadium.
The Ravens (2-2 league, 3-2 overall) piled up 446 yards of total offense, pounding the Rams (0-4, 0-5) for 327 rushing and 119 passing yards.
Jaray Bates led the way with 76 yards on nine carries, including a touchdown. Senior quarterback Josh Latta had seven carries for 68 yards and two touchdowns and Aaron Holloway touched the ball four times for 59 yards and a touchdown.
Evert Chung had six carries for 59 yards and a touchdown.
Latta was deadly through the air, going 9-of-16 for 124 yards and three touchdowns.
Senior Andrey Zadneprovskiy had four catches for 84 yards and two touchdowns and Kameron Boardway had four catches for 33 yards and a TD.
Defensively, the Ravens held the Rams to just 122 yards of total offense.
Auburn Riverside faces Jefferson (3-2, 3-2) for a 7 p.m. game next Thursday at Federal Way Stadium.
