Derek Brown scorched Kentridge for a school-record 49 points in Auburn Riverside’s 85-77 South Puget Sound League North 4A loss on Friday.

The Ravens’ 6-foot-1 junior guard also hit eight 3-pointers in the game.

Senior John Okot-Okidi’s 20 points led Kentridge (1-2 league, 1-2 overall), with senior Eric Charles adding 17 points.

The Ravens (1-2, 2-3) hit the road for a 7:30 p.m. Tuesday league contest against Jefferson (1-1, 2-1).

ALSO: Auburn Mountainview senior Keith Green had 13 points in the Lions’ (3-0 overall) 46-40 nonleague win against Evergreen on Saturday at the Les Schwab Preview at Highline Community College. Nik Sheehan added eight points and Aarun Rumbaugh had six. The Lions host Foster at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday… Rainier Christian (0-2, 0-5) fell 66-53 to Oakville in a Sea-Tac 1B League match on Saturday, despite 21 points from sophomore Noah Baldwin. Baldwin also had six rebounds, two assists and five steals. Junior Jared Nelson added 16 points, with sophomore Austin White chipping in with 10 points and eight rebounds. The Mustangs travel to Quilcene for a 7 p.m. league game Tuesday.
