Auburn juniors Danny Shelton and Nick Conlan finished second and third place, respectively, in the discus at the West Central District 4A meet this Friday at Mt. Tahoma Stadium in Tacoma.

Shelton notched a 155-foot, 7-inch toss, with Conlan earning a 146-7.

Tahoma’s Derek Eager won the event with a 184-6.

In the shot put, Shelton again grabbed second with a 54-3 throw. Eager was first with a 58-6.25 distance.

The West Central District 4A tourney continues today.
