Auburn’s Patrick Fleming captured a recent 7-year-old boys NFL Punt, Pass & Kick Sectional competition. The sectional included competitors from Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Montana.
Fleming, Kent city champion, took the sectional with a combined distance of 133 feet (punt, pass and kick off a tee) on a blustery day. The distance placed Fleming in the top four, enabling him to advance to the Seattle Seahawks Team Championships at the VMAC practice facility in Renton on Saturday, Nov. 28.
If the winner of the Seahawks Team event has a total score (distance) that ranks among the top four nationally among 7-year-old boys, the competitor advances to the nationals.
