Cascade captured the first Auburn middle school football playoff and championship this week.

The Spartans, led by Coach Steve Homfeldt, outlasted the Cougars of Olympic, 19-13, completing their undefeated season.

Homfeldt recorded his 76th win as a middle school coach. He has been coaching at Cascade for 20 years.
