Central Washington’s Brandon Williams, an Auburn Mountainview graduate, earned his ninth victory of the season Friday as the Wildcats eliminated St. Martin’s 2-1 from the GNAC championships at Monmouth, Ore.

Williams, the conference’s Pitcher of the Year, struck out eight and allowed seven hits and one walk.

The Wildcats (29-18) take on host Western Oregon for the championship today.
